10月11日，88rising發佈了他們的全員合作專輯第二版《Head In The Clouds II》，這是這個先鋒唱片公司兼藝術家集合體在世界範圍創造出的年度作品，彙集了從東方到西方的新興藝術家們。這張萬眾期待的野心勃勃的專輯在早前率先發佈了其中四首單曲 - NIKI的“ Indigo”，RHYME SO的“ Just Used Music Again”，Joji和Don Kez合作的“ Breathe”，以及Rich Brian&金請夏的“ These Nights”。

"On October 11th, 88rising returns with the 2nd edition of their collaborative album Head In The Clouds II - the pioneering label and artist collective’s annual world-building effort that brings together rising artists from East to West. The long-awaited and ambitious album follows hit singles “Indigo” with NIKI, “Just Used Music Again” with RHYME SO, “Breathe” with Joji and Don Kez, and “These Nights” with Rich Brian & CHUNG HA. 

In addition to 88rising’s core crew of Rich Brian, Joji, NIKI, Higher Brothers and AUGUST 08, Head In The Clouds II is executive produced by Joji and features unprecedented global collaborations with Swae Lee (of Rae Sremmurd), Major Lazer, Jackson Wang, GoldLink, CHUNG HA, Phum Viphurit, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, Stephanie Poetri and more. Highlights from the album include global focus track “Walking”, an infectious pop hit bringing together blissful melodies from Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd, Japanese singer-songwriter Joji, and Chinese pop superstar Jackson Wang, on top of production from the globetrotting electronic music trio Major Lazer. “Need Is Your Love” finds Joji crooning with the legendary Japanese pop group GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE on an all-out disco anthem. “These Nights” is Indonesian rapper Rich Brian and rising K-Pop sensation CHUNG HA’s exercise in 80s-era R&B perfect for late night cruising. “Indigo” showcases the rise of NIKI, whose songs are on the heels of 250 million views and counting on the TikTok app. Meanwhile, “I Love You 3000 II” takes Indonesian singer-songwriter Stephanie Poetri’s original viral hit from earlier this year and pairs her with Jackson Wang for an exclusive duet remix.
